About
My training and experience is in clinical psychology, creative process group work, and body-centered practices. Grounded in client-centered and humanistic philosophies of growth and change, my style as a therapist is active, collaborative, and respectful. As an artist trained as a psychotherapist, I am interested in the personal and universal aspects of creativity as a resource for personal development and intentional change. I strongly believe in the untapped creative capacity and resilience of each person to translate actionable insight into relevant, self-directed change. Since completing my graduate work at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, my post-graduate training and consultation has been focused on the approach (values and ethics) of traditional Client-Centered (Rogerian) psychotherapy.
Starting therapy and finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, but it's also a first step toward living more intentionally and feeling more centered in your life. Please call or email to arrange a brief phone consultation - I can answer any questions you might have and we can discuss potential options to move forward.
I am an in-network provider with BCBS PPO (employer-sponsored and Marketplace plans) and United/Optum.
